I love my training sessions with Penelope Fitstop, I’d always been a gym person but Kat has shown me how much fun you can have outside and I’ve really noticed a change in my body shape. The sessions never get any easier but I feel fantastic afterwards.
We are both thoroughly enjoying the sessions with Beth. It certainly helps having a trainer coming to your house!
since starting training with Penelope Fitstop a year ago, my body and fitness levels are the best they’ve been for years, I’m now motivated and love running and have even signed up to do my first 5K. I really enjoy my twice weekly sessions with Louise and can’t believe that I train in all weather. The best thing is all the compliments I receive from friends I haven’t seen for a while.

I contacted Penelope Fitstop as I wanted to improve my running and tone my stomach muscles after having my 3 children. Since starting training I have noticed a big difference in my body tone and my running has improved enormously, so much so I’ve signed up to my first half marathon this summer. The sessions are tough but I do feel pleased afterwards.
My sessions with Penelope Fitstop have changed my whole attitude to fitness and nutrition, my diet is now unrecognisable from what it was previously and I have a much greater understanding of the fuelling and hydration needs when training. I have lost weight, toned up and completed one of the greatest challenges of my life so far – The London Marathon, I couldn’t have done it without Louise’s help.. I love the fact that personal training is not just about 1 hour of exercise but your whole well being oh and I also love the Saturday morning Bootcamp.
Penelope Fitstop helped me get my body back after my first baby. They were extremely flexible and sessions could be indoor, in the garden or out in local woodland depending on what suited me and my baby. I thoroughly enjoyed getting out and exercising near the beautiful ponds and woodland close to my home and it was great to be able to exercise with my baby nearby. The nutritional advice and additional exercise sheets were just the motivation I needed to keep me on track in between my twice weekly sessions. I will definitely be using Penelope Fitstop’s services with future new arrivals and probably just to keep my fitness levels up to keep up with the children as they grow.
After discovering I was pregnant my GP recommended that I take it easy until I hit the 12 weeks milestone even though I was already exercising on a regular basis.
I decided to get some specialist advice and chose to personal train with Penelope Fitstop to guide me through the intensity I should be exercising at and support me through each trimester. I trained throughout my pregnancy, and together with regular swimming I believe my fitness level contributed to a symptom free pregnancy, a short labour despite being a first time mum and a quick postpartum recovery.
I cannot recommend the services highly enough for anyone wishing to maintain their fitness levels and general well being throughout their pregnancy.
I was aware there were girls there much fitter and stronger (younger and thinner!) than me, I never felt out of place. Hard to say what to do to make it better - even the weather added to the appeal. I'm really surprised that I've not had any real cravings for sweet stuff or alcohol. I know I shouldn't have but weighed myself yesterday morning and I weighed 5lbs less than Saturday morning. Will do a proper weigh in and measure on Saturday morning and let you know!
Thank you for an enjoyable weekend. I loved it and will come along to the next one. I had not exercised for a while and it gave me the boost I needed to start exercising regularly. I have been raving to my friends about it so hopefully they will come along next time.
